Optimisation of performance and fuel economy
The propeller is crucial in achieving optimum performance from your craft, because a propeller working at its very best can:
- Reduce noise levels
- Increase speed
- Increase energy efficiency
- Improve acceleration and thrust reversing
- Enhance the fuel economy at cruising speed
- Optimise the load pressure on the blades
- Reduce cavitation and shifting of the blades
This service includes the following phases:
- Analysis and digital surveying of the geometric properties of the propeller and its pitch
These operations are conducted using computerised equipment to identify the class (as per ISO 484/2). This makes it possible to store information on the propeller, which will then be immediately available for any subsequent operations.
- Compilation of data on the engine and the vessel
- Interpolation of the data on the propeller and the vessel
- Evaluation of the works to be carried out, such as the alteration of the pitch or the variation of the class as per ISO 484/2.
